We are looking for an Head Business Development- India at Mumbai Location for Writer Information organization.

Job Description :

- To achieve and grow the revenue through organic and inorganic sales for WI across all product & service lines in Technology, Digital, Records & BPO in India

- The India BD Head Sets high targets and defines goals for the team, creating momentum towards goal delivery. Monitors progress against objectives and takes corrective actions when necessary.

- The role incumbent shall build & nurture a high performance & high potential BD organization that consistently adds value to customers by delivering beyond expectations and makes customer satisfaction a key priority, developing long term relationships with customers and satisfying customer needs

KEY (Contributory Role)

- Design and deploy the sales strategies by for SSS, BPS, CDS & DS verticals

- Build & Grow markets and customers by way of Hunting for inorganic growth and Farming existing key accounts at national level

- Responsible for adding one high revenue generating client every quarter and one new customer per month across verticals

- Guide specific Business Development teams to drive strategic deals that will power Writer's accelerated growth

- Increase revenue by promoting product, solution innovation

- Conduct market analysis on new products within the existing BU which can be explored to expand the product portfolio

- Explore Strategic Alliances for the BU's

- Create a roadmap/ execution plan for the function on building strategic focus keeping in mind the future needs

Financial Management (Direct Ownership)

- Prepare and achieve the annual AOP sales and revenue targets

- Responsible for achieving topline targets across Product & Services portfolios

- Win transformational deals

Business Development (Contributory role)

- Generate the opportunity pipeline with sales teams ensuring deal closures

- Drive the sales teams to prepare customized solutions to pitch to clients

- Ensure a pipeline of enquires through lead generation from regional business development managers

- Monitor critical metrics on lead pipeline and lead conversion

- Mine existing accounts and add new logos across different service lines

- Anchor client visits and provide confidence as geography sponsor for prospective client relationships.

- Analyze and lead negotiations and approve profitable/win-win commercial propositions for all prospects/ opportunities.

- Build a network of contacts in a territory and effectively leverage it for identifying and pursuing new business.

- Ensure improved yield for all the contract renewals & ensure timely renewal of all contracts

- Coordinate with business heads for the rate negotiation and approved agreement

- Understand the 'key business processes' of various industries and offer end to end solutions to clients

- Respond to sales proposals/ RFX

- Lead a team of regional sales managers across different geographies and help them in acquiring new clients and monitor their progress through periodic reviews

Operational (Collaborative role)

- Develop robust action plans and corresponding execution strategies to counter competition

- Develop new customer management processes & systems in line with the changing customer needs

People (Direct Ownership)

- Recruit, develop and retain high performing business development teams

DESIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

EXPERIENCE:

- 10+ years of India BD experience from the IT/ITeS Industries

- Should have led the sales teams at Organizational level in the IT/ITeS Industries

- MBA - Sales and marketing / Post Graduate in marketing / business development

- Any additional certified courses in business development / marketing.
