The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate to join our Investment Banking team.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and diverse projects, providing critical support to our global clients across a wide range of industries.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities, coupled with excellent client-facing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate, you will be instrumental in supporting our clients on various investment banking projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

Comprehensive Industry and Company Research:

- Conducting in-depth research across multiple industries, including but not limited to Consumer, IT/ BPO, Telecom, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Metal & Mining, Retail, Oil & Gas, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), and Services.

- Preparing detailed deals & peers screening, market maps, buyer lists, and company-focused discussion documents.

- Developing insightful industry overviews and macro-economic analyses.

Financial Analysis and Valuation:

- Performing rigorous financial analysis, including trading and transaction comparables.

- Conducting operational and financial benchmarking to identify key performance indicators.

- Developing various valuation analyses to support investment decisions.

- Demonstrating a strong understanding and practical experience of working with financial statements.

Pitch Book and Information Memorandum Support:

- Preparing and refining high-quality pitch books and information memorandum (IM) support materials.

- Developing comprehensive company profiles for target companies and clients.

Project Management and Client Delivery:

- Meeting project timelines and ensuring the highest quality of deliverables to achieve "high client satisfaction."

- Taking ownership of new project scoping, structuring deliverables, and developing new research products.

- Producing highly informative and visually appealing presentations and decks.

Client Relationship Management:

- Demonstrating strength and experience in building and managing client/requester relationships.

- Effectively assessing and addressing client information and knowledge needs through direct calls and emails.

Bespoke Qualitative Research:

- Executing specialized qualitative research assignments as per client requirements.

Required Background:

Education: MBA, CFA, or CA qualification is mandatory.

Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience within the Investment Banking space is essential.

Investment Banking Project Expertise: Proven experience in working on a variety of investment banking projects, including:

- Detailed financial analysis with a strong understanding of financial statements.

- Preparation of buyer/target lists, market mapping, trading, and transaction comparables.

- Pitch book/IM support and comprehensive company profiling.

- Macro-economic and industry overviews, with demonstrated experience across various sectors.

- Bespoke qualitative research assignments.

Client Management: Prior experience in directly handling clients through calls and emails is a must.

Technical Proficiency:

Highly proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working knowledge of financial databases such as Bloomberg, CapitalIQ, FactSet, Thomson, etc.

Skills and Attributes:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
