Job Title:Assistant General Manager – Corporate Affairs Location:Core office, Noida Reporting To:Head – Corporate Affairs Employment Type:Full-timeJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our leadership team asAssistant General Manager – Corporate Affairs . The incumbent will be responsible for driving the organization’s government relations, institutional liaison, policy advocacy, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. This role plays a key part in shaping the company’s external environment, enhancing its public image, and ensuring alignment between business goals and regulatory frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing corporate and public affairs, building high-level institutional relationships, and providing strategic support to senior leadership in managing external communications and reputation risk.Key Responsibilities:Government & Regulatory Affairs: Establish and nurture effective relationships with government agencies, regulators, and industry bodies to represent the company’s interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.Institutional Liaison & Stakeholder Management: Act as the key point of contact for external stakeholders, including government officials, business associations, and community representatives, to promote mutual collaboration and trust.Policy Advocacy & Representation: Monitor policy and regulatory developments, prepare position papers, and advocate on behalf of the organization to shape favorable outcomes aligned with business objectives.Corporate Communications & Reputation Management: Support leadership in crafting and executing communication strategies, managing media relations, and mitigating potential reputation risks through proactive engagement.Strategic Coordination: Collaborate with internal departments such as Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Communications to ensure consistency in corporate messaging and execution of cross-functional initiatives.Advisory & Reporting: Provide strategic insights on emerging socio-political and regulatory trends that could impact the organization. Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management review.Other Responsibilities: Undertake any additional assignments or initiatives as directed by the leadership team to support organizational priorities.Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Communications, or related discipline. A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred. 10–15 years of experience in corporate affairs, public policy, or stakeholder engagement, ideally within a large organization or regulated industry.Key Skills: Proven government liaison and institutional relationship management experience. Strong strategic thinking and policy analysis capabilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-stakes external issues. Collaborative leadership style with a results-driven mindset.
