Job Description Role Offered Lead – Corporate Affairs Grade & Designation GM / Sr. GM Work Location Vikhroli, Mumbai No. of Position 1 (one) Reporting Business Head Vertical Corporate Affairs Role Overview We are seeking an experienced professional to lead Corporate Affairs for our renewable captive power business. The role will be pivotal in managing corporate governance, stakeholder relationships, regulatory engagement, government liaison, and policy advocacy to support the company’s strategic growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in corporate affairs or related functions in the power, energy, or infrastructure sectors. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities  Regulatory & Government Liaison o Build and maintain strong relationships with central, state, and local government authorities, industry bodies, and regulatory agencies. o Ensure timely approvals, licenses, and compliance with applicable laws and policies. o Track policy developments in the renewable energy and captive power sector and assess their impact on the organization.  Corporate Governance & Compliance o Support the leadership in ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards and statutory obligations. o Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with environmental, legal, and power sector–specific regulations.  Stakeholder & Industry Engagement o Represent the company in forums, conferences, and industry associations to influence policies and enhance organizational visibility. o Act as the company’s spokesperson with external stakeholders, supporting advocacy and reputation management.  Strategic Advisory o Provide insights on regulatory and policy frameworks impacting renewable captive power projects. o Partner with business development, finance, and operations teams to align corporate affairs initiatives with business strategy.  Crisis & Issues Management o Anticipate and mitigate risks arising from regulatory, political, or social developments. o Lead response strategies for corporate communication during critical events. Functional Skills  Strong understanding of energy sector regulations, renewable power policies, and captive power frameworks.  Expertise in government relations, policy advocacy, and corporate governance.  Excellent drafting, communication, and presentation skills.  Ability to analyse regulatory trends and translate them into business implications.  Experience in managing compliance with legal, environmental, and corporate regulations. Behavioural Attributes  Strategic thinking with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.  Strong networking and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at various levels.  High integrity, ethical conduct, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters.  Influencing and negotiation skills to manage external stakeholders.  Agility and adaptability to work in a dynamic renewable energy environment. Education & Professional experience Educational Background:  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mandatory).  MBA preferred. Work Experience:  Over 12 years of professional experience in corporate affairs, regulatory liaison, policy advocacy, or stakeholder management, ideally within the renewable energy, captive power, or infrastructure sectors.  Proven track record of engaging with government, regulatory, and industry bodies.
