Senior Power Bi Developer Location:Dubai, UAE (Onsite)About the Role We are seeking a highly skilledSenior Power BI Developerwith strong expertise in building enterprise-grade dashboards and working withSAP HANAas a primary data source. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end dashboard development, performance optimization, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain interactivePower BI dashboards and reportstailored to business requirements. Work extensively withSAP HANA data modelsand optimize data extraction for large datasets. Create and managedata models, DAX measures,andPower Query transformationsto ensure efficient performance. Collaborate with business users and functional teams to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Implement and managerow-level security, data refresh schedules,and workspace governance. Integrate Power BI with other enterprise systems and tools where needed. Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize report performance. Stay updated on Power BI and SAP ecosystem enhancements to recommend improvements.Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experiencein Power BI development, including advanced DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling. Strong experience connecting to and working withSAP HANA(views, calculation views, and query performance tuning). Proficiency in buildingcomplex data models , measures, KPIs, and drill-through reports. Experience withPower BI Service , including workspace management, security, and governance. Solid understanding ofETL processes , data warehouses, and data integration best practices. Experience in working inagile environmentswith cross-functional teams. Excellent communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders.Nice to Have Knowledge ofAzure Data Services(Data Factory, Synapse, or Databricks). Experience withSAP BWor SAP BO. Experience inperformance tuningof complex dashboards. Power BI certification is an added advantage.Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Power BI or SAP HANA preferred.
