About the Role:The City Head - Operations will be responsible for leading, managing, and scaling all operational activities within the city. This includes overseeing day- to- day business operations, vendor & partner management, team leadership, process optimization, and ensuring strong customer experience. The role requires a hands- on, data- driven professional with strong execution skills and the ability to manage cross- functional stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage end- to- end city operations to ensure seamless service delivery.- Monitor daily operational performance and drive process improvements.- Ensure adherence to SOPs, compliance, and service standards.- Support demand generation strategies and offline/online initiatives to achieve city revenue targets.- Identify market opportunities, gaps, and local partnerships to scale the business.- Manage and mentor on- ground operations teams (executives, coordinators, field staff, etc.)- Ensure smooth coordination among internal teams (Sales, Growth, Category, Supply, etc.).- Build and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, partners, and service providers.- Negotiate contracts and ensure cost efficiency.- Lead city- level initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and reduce escalations.- Resolve operational bottlenecks and ensure high- quality service delivery.Key Requirements:- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.- 4- 8 years of experience in Operations, City Management, or similar roles.- Strong leadership, team- handling, and stakeholder management skills.- Excellent problem- solving, communication, and execution abilities.- Experience working in fast- paced, high- growth environments (e- commerce, hyperlocal, retail, logistics, etc. preferred).- Data- driven mindset with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; knowledge of analytics tools is a plus.What We Offer:- A fast- paced role with end- to- end ownership of city operations.- Opportunity to scale and lead a high- performing city team.- Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.
