General Manager of Sales

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team and managing the business's daily operations.


KEY JOB DELIVERABLES:


  1. Setting up monthly/ quarterly sales targets for the direct residential sales team and ensuring the execution in the given time frame.
  2. Perform sales activities on a day-to-day basis in consultation with Direct Sales Team.
  3. Monitoring the performance of sales team members on sales and driving them to achieve set sales targets and collections periodically.
  4. Lead, walk in and Sales management through effective use of ERP
  5. Planning and participation in Events and Exhibitions.
  6. Delivering regular presentations on products and services and effectively negotiating difficult sales.
  7. Implement sales programs to improve product awareness and Product Penetration into markets.
  8. Interact regularly with the sales team, understand the market's needs, and change tactics according to those needs to service the customer’s needs.
  9. Direct and Train the sales team to pitch the product rightly to the target market to achieve the overall sales numbers.
  10. Maintaining data of all sold customers and sourcing prospects through them.
  11. Conduct market research and collect market intelligence from time to time and frame sales plans.


QualificatQualification: Graduate/MBA/Postgraduate in Sales and Marketing.

EXPERIENCE: 15-20 Years

  • Strong networking skills and ability to work with multiple teams to get work done
  • Process oriented
  • Good Team management skills
  • Ability to Understand, describe and correct processes based on ground reality.
  • Good understanding of other function processes as well – Engg / Finance.
