Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust cloud-native APIs, services, and Responsibilities :

- Utilize Auth0 and API Gateway to authenticate and authorize HTTP requests.

- Collaborate with front-end developers, data engineers, and DevOps engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

- Identify and address performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal speed and responsiveness of web applications.

- Implement and advocate for best practices in performance optimization.

- Stay updated on the latest AWS cloud technologies and incorporate them into the development Qualifications :

- 3+ years of relevant experience in building and maintaining production backend web solutions.

- Expertise with AWS backend technologies, patterns, and practices, including Route 53, CloudFront, Lambda, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.

- Fluent in high-level languages, primary as JavaScript and secondary as Python.

- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using CDK or Terraform.

- Expertise in creating RESTful backend services.

- Expertise with Agile SDLC practices.

- Practical knowledge of cross-browser development and browser :

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Passion for writing high-quality code.

- Ability to refactor and leave code in a better state than when found.

- Desire to make a significant impact on a brand-new, innovative platform.

- Excellence in communication and ability to drive projects to completion.

- Passion for building products.

- Ability to learn new concepts quickly.

- Capacity to function independently with minimal oversight and as part of a team
