Description : About the Role : We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development.Youll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable products.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and modern frameworks.- Build scalable microservices architectures leveraging Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Azure Cloud.- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.- Work on CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.- Manage and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability.- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring reliability and system uptime.- Follow best practices in code quality, testing, and security throughout the development lifecycle.Technical Skills (Mandatory) : Languages : - Python (advanced proficiency)Frameworks : - Flask, FastAPI, or DjangoCloud Platforms : - Microsoft Azure (with hands-on experience in AKS)Containerization : - Docker, Kubernetes (AKS)Databases : - SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB/CosmosDB)API Development : - RESTful services, authentication & authorization mechanismsDevOps & CI/CD : - Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsArchitecture : - Microservices, event-driven systemsPreferred Skills : - Experience with cloud monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor)- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)- Knowledge of cloud security best practices- Strong understanding of distributed systems and system design (ref:hirist.tech)
