About the Role :

We are seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer with proven expertise using Python (FastAPI), MongoDB, and AWS cloud services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and scalable RESTful APIs, integrating applications with AWS, and ensuring high standards of code quality through testing and CI/CD practices. You will also work with tools like Keycloak for authentication, GitLab for automated workflows, and modern monitoring solutions. This position requires a strong commitment to secure coding practices, performance optimization, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust enterprise-grade solutions.

Good to have skills :

- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, Solutions Architect).

- Experience with SonarQube or other static code analysis tools to ensure code quality and compliance.

- Familiarity with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools for secure logging and real-time monitoring.

- Strong understanding of secure coding guidelines and best practices to mitigate risks such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF), and other OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.

Mandatory Skills :

- Design, develop, document, and maintain robust RESTful backend API services using FastAPI and Python.

- Write efficient and optimized database interactions using ORMs such as Motor, Beanie, or MongoEngine for MongoDB.

- Proven hands-on experience integrating Python applications with AWS services, including S3, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and API Gateway.

- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak.

- Develop comprehensive test coverage with unit tests, functional tests, and integration tests using pytest and related frameworks.

- Practical experience using GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipeline setup, and automated deployment workflows.
