Role Purpose:Lead the Industrial Hydraulics business of Bosch Rexroth India with strategic, commercial, and people accountability to deliver profitable and sustainable growth.As a key member of the Leadership Committee, the role is pivotal in aligning global business strategy with local execution, building strong customer and partner ecosystems, and developing the next generation of leaders for the organization.Strategic Mandate:Deliver Vision 2030: Grow Industrial Hydraulics (Linear & Rotary) from ~ ₹1000 Cr to ₹1800 Cr revenue with balanced profitability and cash flow discipline.Strengthen market position across core and emerging sectors, leveraging Bosch’s multi-technology advantage (Hydraulics, Electric Drives, IoT, Digital Solutions).Champion digital transformation, service excellence, and localization to future-proof the business.Key Responsibilities:Strategy & Growth:Develop and execute strategic and annual business plans aligned with the Global Business Unit and Bosch Rexroth India Strategy.Lead TAM–SAM–SOM–PoTA market analysis, identifying growth vectors and white spaces in traditional and sunrise sectors.Drive Go-To-Market strategies for OEMs, end users, and partner networks, ensuring growth across project, series, and service models.Drive new business incubation in sectors such as recycling, hydrogen value chain, waste-to-energy, and renewables.2. Commercial ExcellenceOwn responsibility for profitable growth of the Industrial Hydraulics Business.Ensure achievement of revenue, EBIT, and cash flow targets.Lead Sales Planning, Administration, and Controlling, ensuring compliance, governance, and audit readiness.Build strong customer relationships at senior level; personally engage with strategic OEMs, end users and key partners.Oversee service business transformation, creating a scalable, digitally integrated service model.3. People & Organization LeadershipLead a team of ~90 employees (7 direct reports) fostering a purpose-driven, high-performance culture.Drive strategic workforce planning, capability building, and career development.Serve as a culture carrier — upholding Bosch values of innovation, responsibility, and trust.Develop leadership succession for critical roles, including engineering, sales, and operations.4. Innovation & DigitalizationAccelerate digitalization of business processes (CRM, SAP, analytics, and AI-based forecasting).Partner with global teams to localize Industry 4.0 solutions for Indian market needs.Leverage data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction (NPS), and service turnaround.5. Stakeholder ManagementAct as the advisory interface to Bosch partner network, enabling sustainable growth for indirect channels.Collaborate closely with global BU leadership & product management to align innovation priorities.Represent Bosch Rexroth India at key industry forums, conferences, and government-industry platforms.QualificationsB.E./B. Tech in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering (mandatory).MBA or Executive Management qualification preferred.Strategic & Entrepreneurial Thinking : Ability to shape market direction, challenge status quo, and drive profitable growth.Customer Orientation : Proven ability to build CXO-level relationships and long-term partnerships.Execution Excellence : Strong operational acumen, accountability, and attention to results.Digital Mindset :- Experience leveraging digital tools for customer experience, efficiency, and decision-making.People Leadership : Empowers teams, builds capability, and fosters collaboration across functions.Financial Acumen : Sound understanding of P&L, cost control, and commercial governance.Executive Presence : Influential communicator with ability to engage senior stakeholders.ExperienceMinimum 20 years of experience in the Industrial Hydraulics / Automation / Motion Control domain.At least 5 years in a P&L leadership role covering Sales, Application, and Service.Proven track record in strategic business development, transformation, and people leadership.Experience in MNC environments with exposure to international markets desirable.Additional InformationCandidate should be given below holistic expectation Success Metrics:Achievement of Vision 2030 milestones and EBIT targets.Market share expansion in key sectors.Customer NPS growth year-over-year.Employee engagement and leadership pipeline health.Digitalization maturity index progression.Service revenue and partner profitability improvement.
