This means predictable production, tight vendor management, accurate inventory, and zero operational surprises.Key Responsibilities1. Vendor Relations & ManagementMaintain strong relationships with all manufacturing vendors, packaging vendors, and raw material suppliers.Ensure vendors meet deadlines, quality standards, and agreed turnaround times.Conduct regular vendor performance audits.Negotiate pricing, timelines, and commercial terms that improve margins & reliability.Resolve vendor issues before they become bottlenecks.2. Supply Chain OwnershipOwn end-to-end supply chain planning — production calendars, NPD timelines, packaging timelines, and replenishment cycles.Maintain 2–3 month rolling production plans based on forecasts.Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Finance & Warehouse to ensure smooth launches and refills.Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery from all suppliers.Identify risks early and create backup plans.3. Inventory ManagementMaintain accurate stock levels across finished goods, packaging, raw materials & samples.Ensure zero stockouts and zero overstock through smart forecasting.Track batch-wise movement, expiry dates, and FIFO compliance.Own warehouse coordination and reconciliation.Build weekly and monthly inventory reports for leadership.4.
