Credgenics - Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Description :We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET-2 to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing, API testing, and database validation, with exposure to test automation using Selenium with Java. Experience with TestNG or Cucumber is a plus.Key Responsibilities :- Perform automation testing on web and mobile applications.- Design and execute API test cases using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.- Conduct database testing using SQL to validate business logic and data integrity.- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define testing strategies.- Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and bug reports.- Optional : Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.- Optional : Utilize TestNG or Cucumber frameworks for test execution and reporting.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 3-4 years of experience in automation testing, API testing, and database testing.- Proficiency in SQL for database testing.- Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured.- Basic understanding of Java and Selenium WebDriver.- Exposure to TestNG or Cucumber (preferred but not required).- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Good communication and documentation skills.Good to Have : - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Experience with version control tools like Git.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
