Job Title:Quality Engineer Location:Pune (Kasurdi) Employment Type:Full-Time Experience:3–5 YearsAbout the Role We are seeking a Quality Engineer for our client, a leading pharma/biotech equipment manufacturer. The role focuses on inspections, compliance with standards, and ensuring quality across all stages of production. Qualifications Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering Strong knowledge of ASME, ASTM codes and quality practices Key Responsibilities Perform stagewise, in-process, raw material and final inspections Inspect bought-out items such as pumps, motors and valves Review raw material test certificates as per ASME Maintain calibration records of machines and instruments Interpret fabrication and GA drawings of vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns and storage vessels Apply ASME Sec. 8, Sec. 9, Sec. S and ASTM standards Knowledge of WPS, PQR, WPQ, welding types and symbols Familiarity with NDT methods (RT, PT, VT) Prepare Quality Assurance Plan (QAP)
