Job Overview:

Cloudologix is seeking a skilled Azure Support Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to provide technical support for our cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting Azure environments, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance of cloud-based applications and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain service availability, ensure security, and troubleshoot any issues within Azure environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Azure Environment Support: Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and databases.
  • Incident Management: Manage and resolve technical incidents related to Azure services, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution.
  • Automation and Optimization: Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and cost-saving within the Azure environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Assist in implementing security best practices within Azure, including managing identity and access (IAM), policies, and monitoring for security threats.
  • Backup and Recovery: Manage and maintain backup solutions and disaster recovery processes within Azure.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and system health reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (developers, operations, and security) to ensure smooth Azure operations and assist in deployments and migrations as needed.


Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in supporting Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in managing Azure services like Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Networking (VNet, NSG, Load Balancers), Azure Active Directory (AD), and other IaaS/PaaS services.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, or equivalent tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automating tasks within Azure.
  • Understanding of Azure backup, recovery, and disaster recovery services.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving Azure-related issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and clients.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-204) are a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
