Overview:The Azure Data Engineer plays a crucial role in designing building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data solutions using Azure data services. This role is essential in ensuring efficient data storage processing and analysis enabling the organization to derive valuable insights and make datadriven decisions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing scalable data solutions on Azure platform
  • Developing and maintaining ETL processes and data pipelines
  • Performing data modeling and database design
  • Building and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes
  • Developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures
  • Implementing data integration solutions
  • Ensuring data security and compliance
  • Monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing data processes and workflows
  • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to gather and analyze data requirements
  • Documenting data architecture processes and best practices
  • Participating in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies
  • Providing technical guidance and support to stakeholders
  • Creating data visualizations and reports
  • Conducting performance tuning and optimization of data solutions
  • Assisting in data migration and system upgrades
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in designing implementing and maintaining data solutions on Azure platform
  • Expertise in ETL development using Azure Data Factory or similar tools
  • Strong knowledge of data modelling database design and data warehousing concepts
  • Proficiency in SQL Python and data integration techniques
  • Handson experience with Azure Data Lake Azure SQL Database and Azure Analysis Services
  • Experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Understanding of data security compliance and governance principles
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Certifications in Azure Data Engineering or related domains (e.g. DP200 DP201) is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuous learning mindset
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Good understanding of cloud computing and serverless architectures
