Job Description :


Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact software projects, ensuring on-time, high-quality, and within-budget execution while driving P&L responsibility for the portfolio.

- Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, customers, and leadership teams, ensuring seamless communication, alignment, and expectation management across all project phases.

- Oversee multiple delivery teams, driving productivity, efficiency, and operational excellence through strategic planning and execution.

- Hire, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the right skills and culture fit to drive high performance and long-term success.

- Provide mentorship and leadership to ensure high-performance teams, fostering continuous learning, collaboration, and technical excellence.

- Collaborate with architects, developers, business analysts, and QA teams to define, scope, and execute project deliverables effectively.

- Implement Agile, Scrum, and other project management methodologies to optimize team efficiency, delivery timelines, and overall software quality.

- Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth execution and maximizing business impact.

- Drive continuous process improvements, automation, and best practices to enhance delivery predictability and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 18+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with expertise in Java-based technologies (Spring, Hibernate, Microservices, etc.)

- Proven track record as a Delivery Manager or Program Manager, handling large, complex projects and teams (50+ members), with direct P&L responsibility.

- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and experience in leading Agile teams.

- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence, inspire, and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.

- Deep understanding of software delivery best practices, productivity optimization, and software architecture.

- Experience managing large-scale, distributed, high-performance Java-based applications.

- Proven ability to drive operational efficiency, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under pressure.

- Strong stakeholder management, client engagement, and contract negotiation experience.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills. (ref:hirist.tech)
