Job Description :


Juego Studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team.

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of highly talented engineers, products, and architects to design and develop a highly scalable and configurable Identity Platform.

You will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle, from the initial kickoff through requirements analysis, design, and implementation.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently or as part of a team, with strong communication skills to interface with business partners and Technology.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with a team of engineers, products, and architects to design and develop a highly scalable and configurable Identity Platform.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing.

- Build domain knowledge for all channels supported by the Identity platform.

- Utilize highly analytical and innovative thinking to develop comprehensive detailed specifications for the Identity Platform.

- Work effectively in cross-functional groups and matrix organizations to deliver results.

- Provide engineering support for the product through the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC).

- Utilize working knowledge of finance industry standards and practices, if applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 5-12 years of experience in Java backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies.

- Experience with highly scalable and configurable Identity Platforms is highly desirable.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with business partners and Technology.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience working in cross-functional groups and matrix organizations.

- Knowledge of finance industry standards and practices is Skill Sets :


- Java Programming Language : Strong proficiency in Java syntax, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and best practices.


- Backend Development: Experience in building backend systems, likely using a Java web framework like Spring Framework.


- Databases : Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and potentially NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) for data persistence. Understanding of SQL queries and data modeling is important.


- Scalability and Configurability: Experience designing and developing systems that can handle high volumes of users and be easily adaptable to different configurations.


- API Development: Ability to design and build APIs (RESTful APIs preferred) for the identity platform.


- Version Control System (VCS): Experience using Git for version control and Skills :


- Identity Platforms: Prior experience working with identity platforms or similar security-focused systems.


- Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP would be a plus.


- Build Tools: Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle.


- Testing: Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit.
