About Our Client:

Our Client is a Vehicle Intelligence company working on the core components of electric vehicles. They are a group of people who are on a mission to make EVs smarter, intelligent and more connected than ever. Their aim is to empower every EV brand so that they can deliver brilliant product experience to their customers, while being sustainable.


The Role:

The Head of Finance will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, driving the financial planning of the company, and supporting the ambitious growth objectives of the business. This role involves strategic planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and risk management. The Head of Finance will work closely with the executive team to establish long-term financial strategies and policies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business goals.
  • Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and compliance.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Conduct financial risk management, including financial systems and internal controls.
  • Manage the budgeting process and consolidate budgets for different departments.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements and ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Lead cash flow management and optimize working capital.
  • Partner with the leadership team to establish long-term financial objectives.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership.
  • Manage relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Lead and develop a small team of finance professionals.


Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, MBA or CA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably in the manufacturing or EV sector.
  • Experience with Series A or early-stage companies is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with financial analysis, reporting, and management.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and financial forecasting.
  • Experience handling investment strategies and fundraising activities.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with executive team members, investors, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
