1. Marketplace Advertising Strategy

Develop and execute advertising strategies for major e-commerce marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, etc.

Manage and optimize ad campaigns across various ad types, including sponsored products, sponsored brands, display ads, and video ads. Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation within the marketplace advertising space. Stay updated with platform changes, algorithm updates, and new ad products offered by marketplaces to maintain competitiveness.

2. Campaign Management

Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns, product listing ads (PLAs), and display advertising on marketplaces. Conduct in-depth keyword research and optimize product listings for improved visibility and conversion rates. Monitor daily performance metrics, adjusting bids, budgets, and targeting to ensure optimal performance. Conduct A/B testing for ad copy, images, and targeting strategies to continuously improve campaign outcomes.

3. Analytics and Reporting

Track and analyse campaign performance data to measure effectiveness and impact on sales and profitability. Provide detailed reports on ROAS, CPA (cost per acquisition), CPC (cost per click), and other key performance metrics. Utilize data insights to drive decision-making and optimize campaigns for better results. Present findings and actionable insights to the leadership team on a regular basis.

4. Collaboration with Internal Teams

Work closely with the e-commerce, product, and creative teams to ensure alignment on brand messaging and promotional strategies. Collaborate with external agencies or vendors when necessary to optimize performance anddrive better outcomes. Coordinate with the inventory and supply chain teams to ensure product availability aligns with advertising strategies.

5. Budget Management

Manage advertising budgets across marketplaces to ensure efficient allocation and maximum ROI. Forecast and allocate budgets based on campaign goals, seasonality, and historical performance. Continuously review and refine budget allocations to ensure optimal spending and profitability.

6. Marketplace Expertise

Maintain a deep understanding of marketplace algorithms, search ranking factors, and advertising tools. Stay informed about competitors’ advertising strategies and trends in the e-commerce space. Develop relationships with marketplace account managers to gain insights and access to beta programs.
