Position: Technical Writer

Location: Pune, Maharashtra.

Duration: 6 Month Contract To Hire.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain technical documentation for a range of IT products and services, including user guides, installation manuals, API documentation, release notes, and troubleshooting guides.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, and product managers to gather technical information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.

Expertise in creating Product Design Documents (PDDs) to outline specifications, requirements, and design decisions for IT products and services.

Proficiency in developing documentation using Confluence, including wikis, knowledge bases, and project documentation.

Create and maintain templates, style guides, and documentation standards to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation.

Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and tracking deliverables to meet deadlines.

Experience in crafting Statement of Work (SOW) templates to outline project scope, deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in technical writing and incorporate them into documentation processes.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical writers, assisting them in improving their writing skills and understanding of technical concepts.

Participate in cross-functional meetings, product reviews, and usability testing to gather feedback and improve documentation quality.

Continuously seek opportunities to streamline and improve documentation processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
