Job Summary


Join the CADFEM Customer Excellence team to partner with our customers to engineer what's ahead and solve real-world engineering problems by deploying the Ansys products in their design workflows.


As a hands-on expert in Ansys Mechanical products, you will use expert-level engineering knowledge to provide technical pre-sales support & perform professional services. You will be part of our vibrant technical community working within multi-disciplinary teams to advance your knowledge, experience, and business impact.


Essential Functions:


  • Lead in coordinating and executing all technical activities throughout the sales opportunity such as technical discovery, product presentations, demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Interact with customers to understand their product design needs and engineering design workflows; analyze how to address customers requirements using Ansys products and platform; articulate Ansys value proposition.
  • Assist in creating differentiating simulation solutions using the Ansys platform and products; deploy the solutions within customers’ design workflows
  • Develop competence as a subject matter expert and industry expert
  • On an as-needed basis conduct webinars, trainings, and handle technical support


Desired Candidate Profile:


  • Master’s degree in an engineering or other technical discipline
  • A strong foundation and experience in Computational SOLID/STRUCTURAL MECHANICS
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in use of commercial CAE, CAD software packages for structural analysis
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior business managers and C-level executives
  • Logical problem-solving approach and the ability to clearly communicate the situation and proposed solution to the customer
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate and conduct webinars and presentations to customers
  • Engaging personality, engineering curiosity and willingness for continuous learning
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgency
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time
