Job Description: Are you a detail-oriented and analytical Research Assistant looking for freelance opportunities? Workafy is seeking skilled research professionals who can support a wide range of research projects, from academic studies to market research and beyond. We are looking for individuals who are proficient in data collection, analysis, and report writing to help our clients achieve their research objectives.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct literature reviews and gather relevant information from various sources.
  • Assist in the design and execution of research studies.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data using statistical tools.
  • Prepare materials for submission to granting agencies and foundations.
  • Coordinate project activities and communicate with team members to ensure project progress.
  • Draft and edit documents and presentations, including research papers, reports, and proposals.
  • Manage and respond to project-related correspondence.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Research Assistant or in a similar research role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS) and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Economics, Sociology, Biology) is preferred.
