Position Overview: As the Product Manager for the Veterinary EHR Software, you will be responsible for driving the success of our product portfolio in the Japan market. Your primary focus will be on product feature planning and ensuring the successful execution of product initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

1.     Team Leadership and Collaboration:

·        Lead and inspire a team of developers based in India, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high-performance.

·        Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless coordination and successful product launches.

·        Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, enabling their professional growth and ensuring their alignment with the company's vision.

2.     Product Development and Execution:

·        Work closely with the development team to oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of high-quality software releases.

·        Define and maintain release plans, production support process, & sprint backlogs, effectively managing priorities, timelines, and resources.

·        Drive agile product development methodologies, employing iterative and incremental approaches to deliver value to customers and stakeholders.

3.     Stakeholder Management:

·        Collaborate with key stakeholders, including veterinary professionals, industry experts, and business partners, to gather insights, validate product direction, and build strategic relationships.

·        Conduct regular product updates and presentations to executive leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating the product vision, roadmap, and progress.

4.     Quality Assurance:

·        Oversee the testing and quality assurance process to ensure that software releases meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

·        Collaborate with QA engineers to define test plans, conduct testing, and address any issues or bugs identified.

 

  1. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:

·        Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to the veterinary industry and EHR solutions.

·        Monitor competitors' product offerings, pricing strategies, and market positioning, leveraging this information to inform product enhancements and maintain a competitive advantage.

Qualifications and Skills:

·        Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field from Tier 1 colleges. Advanced degree preferred.

·        Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or similar role, preferably in the healthcare or software industry.

·        Strong understanding of the veterinary industry, healthcare IT, or EHR systems is a plus.

·        Demonstrated success in leading and managing cross-functional teams, ideally in an Agile development environment.

·        Proficient in product management methodologies, such as Agile/Scrum, with a track record of delivering successful products on time and within budget.

·        Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

·        Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven and analytical approach to decision-making.

·        Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, able to anticipate market needs and translate them into actionable product strategies.

·        Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
