Description: FAO Team Lead Accounting, Compliance & Reporting.Job Title: Finance & Accounting Operations Lead India.Department: Finance & Accounts Outsourcing (FAO).Reports To: Manager FAO.Experience: 3-5 years in end-to-end accounting, compliance, and CA.Employment Type: Full-time.Location: Bangalore, India (On-site).Role Overview:SBS Global (www.sbs-global.com), incorporated in 2006 and based out of Bangalore, India, is an ISO 9001:2015 and 27001:2013 certified company offering a comprehensive range of Financial Services and HR Solutions for organizations across the globe.The organization provides specialized services in Financial Accounting and Advisory for India-based entities, US and EMEA Tax & Accounting, Virtual CFO, Outsourced Compliance, and Company Secretarial services.Our clients across India, the Americas, Europe, and the Asia Pacific are supported by certified professionals.Additionally, SBS Global supports organizations with Indian entity setup services including Resident Director Services, Statutory Audit, Transfer Pricing, and Registered Office services.We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Team Lead to manage multi-client delivery for accounting, statutory compliance, and reporting with proficiency in Indian GAAP and US GAAP.Accounting Operations & Reporting:- Oversee daily accounting activities: AP, AR, payroll journals, cash/bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions.- Finalization of accounts including Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, and P&L.- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financials per Indian GAAP / US GAAP.- Review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments in line with closing calendars.- Handle consolidation and intercompany reconciliation for multi-entity clients.Statutory & Regulatory Compliance:- Ensure timely filing and compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, and other applicable Indian laws.- Support in Income Tax Return (ITR), Tax Audit, and Statutory Audit processes.- Familiarity with compliance under STPI, FEMA, RBI for export units or global subsidiaries.- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required.Client Engagement & Reporting:- Manage end-to-end client communications and deliverables.- Prepare and present MIS reports, variance analysis, and dashboards.- Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance.- Support clients with month-end close checklists and deliverables.Systems, Controls & Process Excellence:- Work on cloud-based platforms like Tally, Zoho, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, SAP B1 etc.- Monitor SLA compliance and implement internal controls for quality assurance.- Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of processes.- Ensure documentation and SOPs are maintained and updated.Team Leadership:- Lead and mentor a team of 24 junior accountants and associates.- Allocate work, review deliverables, and ensure timelines and quality standards are met.- Conduct internal training on new regulations, tools, and best practices.- Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and client service excellence.Candidate Profile:- CA with 35 years of relevant experience in a managed services or outsourcing firm.- Exposure to international accounting standards (US GAAP) is highly desirable.- Experience in a multi-client environment, preferably with global clients.- Strong working knowledge of accounting platforms and Microsoft Excel.- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and handle client interactions independently.- Strong verbal and written communication skills.What We Offer:- Opportunity to work with Indian and international clients across industries.- A professional work environment with structured training and career path.- Exposure to global best practices in accounting, compliance, and reporting.- Work-life balance with a performance-driven culture.
