JOB DESCRIPTION:

We at HCL Tech are looking for candidates for the job role of "Technical Lead (AppDynamics)".

Job Type: Full-time and permanent

Shift involved: 2-11 PM IST

Experience: 7- 10 years

Job Location: PAN India (Noida, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai and Pune)

Notice period: immediate to 30 days

Work mode: Onsite

Job Responsibilities:

  • 7+ Years of application performance monitoring experience with 7+ years of experience in AppDynamics.
  • Proven experience as an APM Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of application performance monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics).
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure.
  • Experience in AIOps platforms such as Bigpanda, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, etc are a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one or more programming/scripting languages like Python/Java/Groovy.
  • Working knowledge of reporting and BI tools like PowerBI, Tableau.
  • Design, implement, and manage performance monitoring strategies for both infrastructure and applications.
  • Analyze application performance data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate Monitoring tools into the software development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain performance benchmarks, metrics, and reports to track application performance.
  • Knowledge about Networking and Hybrid Infrastructure components.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for application architecture and design to enhance performance.
  • Good knowledge about automation and self-healings orchestrations like Ansible, SNOW.
  • Deep knowledge on utilizing REST APIs to automate bulk of the routine and manual tasks.
  • Develop custom integration and plugins for seamless integration with non-supported technologies.
  • Lead performance testing efforts, including load testing, stress testing, and capacity planning.
  • Identify and troubleshoot performance issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL and ETL processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in application performance management.

Mandatory skills:

  • Experience with AppDynamics
  • Experience with Big Panda
  • Experience with AWS
