Job Description for the Role of Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Job Summary: We are seeking a visionary and dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead our marketing efforts and drive brand growth. As the CMO, you will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances brand awareness, increases customer acquisition, and boosts revenue growth. You will oversee all marketing functions, including digital marketing, brand management, content creation, PR, and customer engagement, while collaborating closely with sales, product, and other cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:


Marketing Strategy and Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a cohesive, data-driven marketing strategy aligned with factori.com's growth objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of brand management, customer acquisition, digital marketing, and public relations.
  • Drive innovative marketing campaigns that build the brand, attract new customers, and foster customer loyalty.

Brand Development and Positioning:

  • Establish and enhance factori.com's market position by defining and communicating the brand's value proposition.
  • Build a strong, distinctive brand presence in the marketplace through creative storytelling and effective positioning.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels and platforms.

Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition:

  • Lead the digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, paid media, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Leverage data analytics to optimize campaigns and customer journeys and improve ROI on marketing spend.
  • Implement lead generation and customer acquisition strategies to drive revenue growth through digital channels.

Customer Experience and Engagement:

  • Develop strategies to improve customer experience and engagement, ensuring factori.com delivers superior customer satisfaction.
  • Lead customer research initiatives to understand customer needs, behaviors, and market trends.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance customer loyalty, retention, and advocacy.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the product, sales, and procurement teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and product development.
  • Work closely with the sales team to create and implement demand generation strategies that support revenue growth.

Data-Driven Marketing and Analytics:

  • Use analytics to measure and optimize marketing performance, providing regular reports to the leadership team on key metrics and ROI.
  • Implement and oversee marketing technologies to improve processes, measure campaign effectiveness, and drive decision-making.

Public Relations and Corporate Communications:

  • Manage all aspects of public relations, including media relations, corporate communications, and reputation management.
  • Act as the company’s primary spokesperson, representing factori.com in public forums, media interviews, and conferences.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, guide the team, and manage performance to ensure marketing goals are met.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven track record in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within the e-commerce, B2B, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, brand management, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, marketing automation tools, and emerging digital trends.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in building and scaling marketing teams and strategies in a rapidly growing company.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecast, and drive cost-effective marketing initiatives.
