of the Position:To lead and manage accounting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory compliance functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax optimization, liquidity management, and adherence to FEMA, RBI, and ODI guidelines.Key Result Areas and Activities:Accounting & Financial Reporting:- Oversee complete accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations.- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS/IFRS.- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Taxation & Compliance:- Handle direct and indirect tax matters (GST, Income Tax, TDS).- Prepare and review tax returns, assessments, and represent the company before tax authorities.- Implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax liabilities.Treasury Management:- Manage cash flow planning, fund allocation, and liquidity management.- Negotiate banking facilities, loans, and working capital arrangements.- Optimize surplus fund investments and monitor ROI.- Manage forex transactions and hedging strategies.Regulatory Compliance (FEMA, RBI, ODI):- Ensure compliance with FEMA regulations for foreign exchange transactions.- Handle RBI reporting, foreign investments, and remittances and settlements.- Manage Overseas Direct Investment (ODI) compliance, documentation, and reporting.- Liaise with banks and regulatory authorities for approvals and filings.Audit & Internal Controls:- Coordinate statutory, tax, and internal audits.- Strengthen internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies.Roles and Skill:- Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, Income Tax, FEMA, RBI guidelines, ODI regulations.- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)- Excellence in using MS Office products like Advance Excel, Word and PowerPoint- Excellent Oral & Written Communication- Outstanding analytical skillsDesirable Skills:- Lead and mentor the finance team.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for budgeting and CA / ICWA/ MBA (Finance) or equivalent.- 10 - 12 years of experience in accounting, taxation, treasury, and regulatory Proven problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with a high degree of adaptability; well-versed in the latest trends in the data engineering field- Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively, maintain a professional attitude, and work well in a team- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach and keen attention to detail (ref:iimjobs.com)
