As we continue our expansion journey, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Franchise Development Manager to lead and grow our franchise business.


Role Overview:

The Franchise Development Manager will be responsible for driving the expansion of Tovo’s franchise network. This role will focus on identifying, recruiting, and onboarding qualified franchise partners, ensuring alignment with Tovo’s brand values and business goals. The Franchise Development Manager will work closely with leadership to develop and execute a franchise growth strategy while managing relationships with prospective and current franchisees.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Franchise Growth Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive franchise growth strategy, targeting new markets both nationally and internationally.
  • Franchisee Recruitment: Identify and evaluate potential franchise partners. Manage the entire recruitment process, from lead generation to final contract negotiation and onboarding.
  • Franchise Agreement Management: Draft, review, and manage franchise agreements in coordination with the legal team, ensuring all legal and business requirements are met.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, assess market conditions, and develop target profiles for potential franchisees.
  • Franchisee Support & Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new franchisees, ensuring they have the necessary tools, resources, and training to successfully operate a Tovo restaurant.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with current and potential franchisees, acting as the primary point of contact for all franchise development matters.
  • Financial Performance & Compliance: Monitor the financial health of franchisees, ensuring they meet Tovo’s performance and compliance standards.
  • Franchise Marketing: Work with the marketing team to develop franchise sales collateral, promotional materials, and presentations to attract high-quality franchise partners.
  • Expansion Goals: Ensure franchise growth targets are met, supporting Tovo’s vision to expand its global footprint and reach 100 outlets by 2026.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operations, marketing, and legal teams to ensure franchisees receive the necessary support, tools, and guidance to succeed.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track and report on franchise development progress, providing regular updates to senior leadership on key metrics, challenges, and opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in franchise development or sales, preferably in the F&B, QSR, or retail sectors.
  • Proven track record of successfully expanding a franchise network or similar business models.
  • Strong understanding of franchise agreements, financial analysis, and legal requirements for franchise development.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with franchise operations and knowledge of best practices for franchise support.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for business development and growth.
  • Ability to travel frequently to meet with prospective franchisees and assess new market opportunities.
