The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical design and development of HVAC components, ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards and functional requirements.Key Responsibilities Develop 3D CAD models forplastic injection molded partsusingCatia V5 (R24) Design components usingconstrained sketches ,Boolean operations , andinner/outer methodology Work within product structures utilizingmulti-skeleton methodology Executedetailed HVAC component designin accordance withDesign for Manufacturing (DFM)andDesign for Assembly (DFA)principles Preparetechnical proposalsand participate in technical presentations Createdetailed drawingswithGD&T , considering manufacturing processes and measurement techniques Conducttolerance stack-up analysisfor critical components Performself-checksof designs to eliminate CAD quality, DFM, and DFA issues Investigatevehicle packagingconstraints and modify concepts accordingly Manage data effectively inProduct Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of assigned tasksMandatory Skills ✔ Proficiency inCatia V5(Part Design, Assembly, Drawing) ✔ Strong understanding ofHVAC systemsin the automotive domain ✔ In-depth knowledge ofplastic injection moldingandcastingprocesses ✔ Familiarity withISO GD&T standardsandfunctional dimensioning ✔ Ability to performtolerance stack-up analysis ✔ Competency in reading and interpretingtechnical drawings and manufacturing specs
