Job Scope

The position will be responsible for managing government accounts and building relationships with clients to maximize sales prospects.

Responsibilities
  • Actively manage the list of government accounts portfolio
  • Identify and cultivate new clients, engaging them through various stages of sales to meet monthly sales objectives
  • Maximize share of wallet by providing high levels of customer satisfaction and up-selling/cross-selling possibilities within existing consumers
  • Coordinate pre-sales and post-sales follow-up
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs
  • Analyze key government accounts and develop a reach strategy
  • Track market trends and provide frequent competitor input
  • Follow and commit to Yotta's policy statements
  • Undertake applicable training as communicated from time to time
  • Participate in risk assessment process and contribute to achieving departmental and management system objectives
Requirements Good to Have Skills
  • Industry Knowledge: Minimum 10-15 years of experience, with 5 years in direct government business engagement
  • Business Acumen: Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful recommendations
  • Change Management: Evidence of successful experience helping others manage change
  • Problem-solving, negotiation, and mediation skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment

Qualifications and Experience
  • Certificate or degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or a similar discipline
  • 10-15 years of experience in government IT/telecom sales and solutions
  • Proficiency in drafting email/presentation/document content for high-level correspondence in government departments
  • Familiarity with local topology and government department structure hierarchy
  • Knowledge of regional languages is an added advantage
