Accounts Payable Manager Night Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the company's accounts payable operations.

This role will be responsible for managing the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, maintaining vendor relationships, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development.

- Oversee the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice receipt, coding, approval workflows, and payments.

- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense reports, credit card transactions, and vendor payments.

- Maintain accurate and complete records of all accounts payable transactions.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes related to accounts payable.

- Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

- Review and improve AP processes, policies, and internal controls to increase efficiency and mitigate risk.

- Resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies promptly and professionally.

- Collaborate with internal departments (procurement, operations, etc.) to ensure accurate coding and budgeting.

- Assist in audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.

- Monitor KPIs related to AP performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.

- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or relevant certification is a plus).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.

- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
