Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Development Engineer at Stag International in Meerut. As a Product Development Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve utilizing your analytical skills and expertise in mechanical engineering to drive research and development activities. You will play a crucial role in product design and the overall product development process.


Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in research and development (R&D)-Strong research skills on understanding the
  • Expertise in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in product development
  • Knowledge of product design principles
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling softwares.(Autodesk Fusion 360 will be an advantage).
  • Knowledge of Product Rendering Softwares (Preferably Keyshot).
  • Experienced in Solid modeling and Surface modeling.
  • Experienced in Sheetmetal operations and manufacturing (Laser cutting and CNC Bending Operation).
  • Knowledge in additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Department - Research & Development

Experience - 1 - 2 years.

Qualification - Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or Design


Responsibilities:

  1. Undertaking engineering activities based on customer requirements and developing them into design.
  2. Identifying and studying manufacturing processes for the development of the design.
  3. Working seamlessly with other design engineers and vendors on the work scope assigned.
  4. Executing Engineering Activities per agreed schedule and timelines.
  5. Create drawings and Bill of materials (BOM) for the procurement team.
  6. Exceeding expectations on Engineering Quality.
  7. Working alongside the customer marketing team to create photorealistic product renders, videos and animations to better illustrate the product into the market.
  8. Researching and understanding the potential of an existing or new product in the market with relevant technology support.

To be successful you need to:


  1. Are a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  2. Have 1-2 Years of Overall Design Engineering expertise.
  3. Have strong engineering basics, Strength of materials and Material science.
  4. Have a strong understanding of 3D solid modeling and drafting.
  5. Have strong oral and written communication skills, Strong interpersonal and Strong technical aptitude. 
  6. Have the ability to work independently without supervision. 
  7. Have strong problem solving skills.
  8. Are an extremely organized individual.
