Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Product Development Engineer at Stag International in Meerut. As a Product Development Engineer, your day-to-day tasks will involve utilizing your analytical skills and expertise in mechanical engineering to drive research and development activities. You will play a crucial role in product design and the overall product development process.


Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Product Rendering Softwares (Preferably Keyshot).
  • Experienced in Solid modeling and Surface modeling.
  • Experienced in Sheetmetal operations and manufacturing (Laser cutting and CNC Bending Operation).
  • Knowledge in additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping techniques. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking engineering activities based on customer requirements and developing them into design.
  • Identifying and studying manufacturing processes for the development of the design.
  • Working seamlessly with other design engineers and vendors on the work scope assigned.
  • Executing Engineering Activities per agreed schedule and timelines.
  • Create drawings and Bill of materials (BOM) for the procurement team.
  • Exceeding expectations on Engineering Quality.
  • Working alongside the customer marketing team to create photorealistic product renders, videos and animations to better illustrate the product into the market.
  • Researching and understanding the potential of an existing or new product in the market with relevant technology support.

To be successful you need to:


  • Are a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Have 1-2 Years of Overall Design Engineering expertise.
  • Have strong engineering basics, Strength of materials and Material science.
  • Have a strong understanding of 3D solid modeling and drafting.
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills, Strong interpersonal and Strong technical aptitude. 
  • Have the ability to work independently without supervision. 
  • Have strong problem solving skills.
  • Are an extremely organized individual.
