About the job:

As the Production Head at our Meerut facility, you will play a pivotal role in driving our production efficiency and effectiveness. As we are growing in India, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that we meet our project and production targets within budget. Your focus will be on optimizing productivity, enhancing quality, and reducing costs. This is a leadership position that requires strong coordination with various departments, a deep understanding of glass production processes, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards. What you’ll do:

Supervise the production team to effectively manage and execute production projects. Coordinate with other departments to develop comprehensive project plans and timelines. Collaborate with maintenance and purchasing teams to ensure plant machinery upkeep and project execution. Plan, schedule, and perform production activities to meet on-time delivery goals. Ensure optimal stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and spares for uninterrupted production. Develop production programs and guidelines aligned with company objectives. Schedule regular equipment maintenance and inspections. Propose process improvements to enhance production quality and capacity. Investigate and resolve production issues efficiently. Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high-quality standards. Ensure final products meet quality standards and customer specifications. Address customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions. Plan and manage production and Capex/Opex budgets. Set and achieve production KPIs. Provide both classroom and on-the-job training to enhance production processes. Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards. Maintain overall safety and plant housekeeping standards.

What you’ll need:

1. Education: BE/Diploma
2. Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

Experience in glass production Glass tube forming Glass forming Furnace & batch plant operation Operation management Project management

3. Experience: Minimum of 18 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in glass production.

Manager Production Shift Incharge


Additional Responsibilities:

Assume overall operational responsibilities in the absence of the Plant Head.
