Role Details

St Joseph's School invites applications for a Permanent, Full-time Primary (0.5 FTE) and Middle Years (Year 7-9) Teacher (0.5FTE).

Middle Years curriculum areas can be negotiated based on expertise and interests. 

The successful applicant will demonstrate an ability to:

  • Actively promote the Catholic Identity of the school and support the Josephite traditions of our community.
  • Design inclusive learning programs with a high emphasis on student engagement, inquiry, active learning and creativity.
  • Demonstrate a sound knowledge of contemporary and inclusive pedagogies that promote learning for all students. 
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of a variety of assessment and reporting strategies and the need to provide effective and timely feedback to students and parents. Knowledge of SEQTA an advantage. 
  • Provide a learning environment that supports students to take responsibility for their learning and well-being, with an emphasis on Restorative Practices.
  • Be a dynamic educator committed to personal and professional learning.
  • Be a collaborative member of the school community.
