St Joseph's School Port Lincoln is seeking a dedicated Junior Primary Teacher to join our team and contribute to the growth and well-being of students from R-2.

The Role

Junior Primary Teacher (R-6)

12-month contract, commencing January 2026 (Term 1)

We’re seeking a Junior Primary Teacher who will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences across all Key Learning Areas, grounded in faith, hope, respect, and love, in line with our Josephite tradition.

  • Support students with diverse gifts, talents, and learning needs, collaborating with the Junior School team and Leader of Learning.

  • Establish a nurturing, faith‑centred, and academically stimulating classroom environment that supports wellbeing and encourages students to flourish.

  • Apply effective assessment and reporting practices that foster student growth and constructive feedback for both students and families.

  • Contribute to pastoral care, sharing our core values and embracing St Mary MacKillop's philosophy to, "Never see a need without doing something about it".

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in curriculum development, and continuous professional learning to support excellence in teaching and learning.

  • Participate in school activities, co-curricular programs, and whole-school events.

Essential Position Requirements: 

  • Current Teacher Registration

  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)

  • First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)

  • RRHAN-EC Master Class Certificate
