About the Team The Governance & Control team at Navi is responsible for overseeing internal audits across various domains, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The team proactively addresses audit findings and implements corrective actions to strengthen internal controls across the organization.About the Role This role is responsible for driving the IT audit strategy across Navi’s entities, ensuring alignment with organizational risks and regulatory expectations. It plays a critical part in strengthening internal controls, enhancing IT governance, and providing independent assurance through proactive risk identification and audit oversight in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.What We Expect From You A. Strategic Own thedevelopmentandimplementationof the risk-basedannual IT audit plans of various entitiesof Navi and ensure they areresponsiveto andalignedwith therisk profileof the organization. Lead theannualandongoing evaluationsof IT infrastructure andestablish controlsandaudit procedurestoidentify areas of risk or non-complianceof various entities and map with auditable entities / functions. Ensure proper resourcing forimplementation of the plan , andadjust the planas needed in response to changes inNavi’s business risks, operations, programs, systems and controls. B. Process development Develop and update audit tools by consideringIIA guidelines&audit manual,anddifferent operational, legalan d environmental changesof the entities. Proactivelyinform senior managementofsignificant risksor exposures related tointernal controls, complianceandgovernancerequiring prompt attention. Providefeedbackandrecommendations on IT & data risksand improve operational efficiencies and processes where appropriate. C. Leadership Maintaingood relationshipsandwork with a collaborative approachwith all key stakeholders across various entities. OverseeInternal Audit’s participationin critical business andtechnology initiativesandprojectsensuring thataudit’s perspectiveis effectively voiced andappropriate controlsare designed andimplementedon aproactive basis. Serve as a“thought leader”with respect toIT risk managementandinternal controlbest practices. D. Operational Continuouslyinspectand assess various elements of the company’s information systems and implement audit test plans. Identifyandevaluatethe IT risk exposure and recommend remediation strategies. Review security / digital measurestaken byline function(CTO, CISO, Tech Leader and Line function) / new business initiatives. Coordinate withexternal auditorsandregulatorsand provide independent assurance on the IT framework and associated controls. Track theissuesandactions management processand ensure timely closure. Identifyearly warning signalsin IT areas andidentify potential fraudscenarios for in-depthreviewandinvestigation . Benchmark thecompany’s systemsto otheravailable technologieson the market andstrengthen the companyfurther through use of technology. E. Reporting Issue allIT Audit reportsin atimely mannerensuring the reports areclear, concise, identify root causeswithpractical solutions,and ultimately provide value to management. Ensure timely delivery of differen t MIS, reports, and datato assist the Function Head. Preparematerialsandmake presentationsto the audit committee and management independently.Must Haves CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, PPM, PMP, DISAor equivalent IT audits related qualification is preferred. 7 or more years’of experience in IT audits preferred (withmin 2-3 yearsin ateam managementrole). Strong knowledge ofIT security and infrastructure.Experience of working / auditing in agile product management environments. 3 to 5 years of FintechorNBFC industry experiencewith good expertise ofRBI and / or IRDAI guidelineson IT frameworks &sensitive data protectionis preferred (not mandatory).Inside Navi We are shaping the future of financial services for a billion Indians through products that are simple, accessible, and affordable.
