Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and integrations, ensuring their stability, scalability, and security. This individual will work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet organizational needs. The role requires proficiency in ServiceNow technologies, strong coding skills, and a commitment to quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Work with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement solutions.
- Write scalable and maintainable code, ensuring high quality and performance.
- Maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate to ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Stay current with new ServiceNow technologies and trends.
- Ensure applications are stable, secure, and scalable.
Key Experience & Skills:
- 5-7 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform and related product suites.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow best practices and cloud architecture.
- Experience with key ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, PPM, CSDM, HRSD, and CSM.
- Proficient in JavaScript, AngularJS, HTML, CSS, and REST APIs.
- Familiar with ServiceNow cloud architecture and Mulesoft integration services.
- Experience working with workflows in various ServiceNow areas (ITSM, ITOM, PPM, etc.).
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM methodology and servant leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Ability to simplify complex requirements while maintaining upgradability.
Certifications:
- CSA (Certified System Administrator) is a must.
- Additional certifications such as CAD, CIS-ITSM, CIS ITOM, CIS-CSM are preferred, based on relevant expertise areas.
