About Tap Health:

Tap Health is a voice-first, AI-driven platform for early illness detection and affordable chronic disease management.

Over 350 Millions of Indians suffer from chronic illnesses that could have been detected earlier and managed better. There is a lack of accessible solutions for early illness detection Existing chronic disease management programs are often unaffordable.

Tap Health's Health Assistant provides free preliminary diagnoses and personalized health advice, while affordable Chronic Illness Management programs support patients without any need for human intervention. Tap Health eliminates barriers like high costs and limited access, empowering millions to manage their health effectively with personalized, AI-driven solutions.

We launched our MVP-a voice-first AI Health Assistant-in March 2024. It has already helped over 100K users diagnose illnesses early and receive personalized health advice.

We are now launching India's first affordable, 100% AI-driven digital therapeutic product for diabetes. This program provides patients with personalized care, guiding them through lifestyle changes, medication management, and real-time monitoring. The AI enhances adherence by 10X compared to traditional human-led programs, making it easier for patients to stay on track without human intervention.

Role overview - Chief Technology Officer

Tap Health is seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering leader to lead our engineering & AI team. This role is pivotal in driving the development of our cutting-edge AI-driven healthcare platform. You will be instrumental in building both consumer and B2B applications across mobile, SDK and PWA, creating APIs for third-party services, and ensuring the seamless integration of our platform within the broader healthcare ecosystem.

Key result area:

- AI and Data Strategy: Drive the development and integration of AI technologies to enhance our early illness detection and health information platform. Leverage data to improve personalization and deliver better healthcare outcomes.

- Technology Leadership: Define and implement the technical vision and strategy for Tap Health, aligning with the company's business goals.

- Team Management: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Product Development: Oversee the development and deployment of our AI-driven healthcare platform, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance, scalability, and security.

- Innovation: Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance our product offerings and maintain a competitive edge.

- Partnerships: Collaborate with other executives, stakeholders, and external partners to identify opportunities for technological advancement and integration.

- Data Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy, leveraging our proprietary knowledge base to fine-tune our AI models and improve personalization.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure robust testing, deployment, and monitoring practices to maintain high-quality, reliable, and secure software solutions.

Job description:

- Being hands-on with code.

- Lead and manage a team of engineers in the workstream, setting clear goals and priorities.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and data science, to identify growth opportunities and prioritize initiatives.

- Rapid prototyping of proof-of-concept stage projects.

- Oversee project planning, team allocation, and task delegation.

- Follow up with the development of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of growth initiatives and iterate on strategies accordingly.

- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in growth hacking and apply them to our products.

Who Should Apply For This Role:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

- 10-15 years of relevant experience in a senior technology leadership role in a consumer Internet business

- Exposure to 0 to 1 build-up

- Strong background in AI and machine learning technologies, with prior experience in building on AI

- Strong exposure to frontend and backend engineering

- Good technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages/technologies, platforms, cloud architecture, security and privacy etc
