Job Summary:

The Procurement Head will be responsible for leading all procurement activities related to influencer marketing, digital marketing campaigns, and vendor partnerships. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape. The ideal candidate will optimize costs, build strong vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and ensure the highest quality of services and partnerships.

- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, agencies, and influencers, ensuring alignment with company objectives and standards.

- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors, fostering collaboration and mutual growth.

- Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.

- Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and innovative solutions.

2. Negotiation & Contract Management:

- Lead and execute complex negotiations with influencers, agencies, and other vendors to secure the most favorable terms and pricing for influencer and digital marketing campaigns.

- Request, analyze, and evaluate pricing proposals from agencies and brands, ensuring competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.

- Draft, review, and manage all contracts and agreements, including influencer contracts, agency agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs).

- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices.

- Collaborate with the legal team to address any contractual issues or disputes.

3. Financial Management & Reporting:

- Manage the procurement budget, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines and optimizing spending.

- Coordinate with the finance team to obtain approvals for budgets, proposals, and contracts related to influencer marketing initiatives.

- Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of vendor information, contracts, and pricing data.

- Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management.

- Implement cost control measures and identify opportunities for process improvement.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and objectives.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing clear and concise updates on procurement activities and vendor performance.

- Facilitate effective communication between vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects.

- Act as a point of contact for all procurement-related inquiries and issues.

5. Market Research & Trend Analysis:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, new technologies, and potential partners in the influencer and digital marketing space.

- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and innovation.

- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends and best practices in procurement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the digital marketing or advertising industry.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is highly preferred.

- Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of successful negotiations and securing competitive rates.

- Influencer Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with influencer marketing trends, platforms, and industry standards.

- Contract Management: Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and agreements.

- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.

- Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software/tools.
