Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR leader to oversee all human resources functions at DEK & Mavericks Green Energy Limited. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR management within a fast-paced and rapidly expanding company, particularly in the renewable energy sector. As the Head of HR, you will be responsible for shaping and driving HR strategies to support our growth, managing talent acquisition, development, employee engagement, policies, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Your leadership will be essential as we prepare for our listing on the stock exchange and continue to expand our workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
· Talent Acquisition and Retention:
Lead recruitment and staffing efforts to attract top talent in the renewable energy sector. Develop and implement retention strategies to ensure DEK & Mavericks Green Energy Limited remains an employer of choice.
· Employee Development & Performance Management:
Oversee the design and implementation of employee development programs, performance appraisals, and career progression plans to foster growth, improve employee satisfaction, and increase retention.
· HR Policies & Procedures:
Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies and procedures to ensure the company maintains compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a positive workplace culture.
· Compliance & Legal Affairs:
Ensure the company complies with labor laws, regulations, and industry standards. Oversee the preparation and filing of all statutory documents and reports related to human resources.
· Employee Engagement & Wellbeing:
Champion initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and workplace culture. Promote health, safety, and wellbeing programs to ensure employees are supported both professionally and personally.
· Strategic HR Leadership:
Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with the company’s growth objectives and operational needs. Provide expert guidance on organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.
· Compensation & Benefits Management:
Manage compensation structures, benefit programs, and performance incentives that attract and retain top talent while ensuring equity and fairness across the organization.
· HR Technology & Systems:
Leverage HR technology and systems to improve the efficiency of HR processes, from recruitment to payroll, and to maintain a seamless employee experience.
· Reporting & Analytics:
Provide regular reports on key HR metrics (turnover, recruitment, employee engagement, etc.) to the executive team and offer insights to drive decision-making.
Qualification & Skills:
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) will be a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy, Construction or Infrastructure, or a fast-growing industry.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead and manage HR teams, drive change, and effectively collaborate with senior leadership to achieve business goals.
- Knowledge of HR Laws and Compliance:
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, industry regulations, and compliance requirements. Experience with HR-related statutory reporting is essential.
- Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making:
- Ability to address complex HR challenges with practical solutions and make informed decisions that align with company goals.
- Technological Proficiency:
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, data analysis, and the use of technology to streamline HR operations.
- Passion for Sustainability:
- A genuine interest in contributing to the growth of a company focused on renewable energy and sustainability.
