JOB DESCRIPTION:

Will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive HSE requirements, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering a HSE-first culture within the organization. The Senior Manager for HSE in Hospitality will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential risks, conduct thorough HSE audits, and guide to promote a safe working environment for operational high-rise buildings, hotels and clubs.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


A) HSE Strategy and Planning:

  • Implement the company's HSE policies and procedures
  • Create/ review and execute a comprehensive HSE plan for high-rise buildings, hotels and clubs, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Collaborate with Site Head/ Managers and site supervisors to integrate HSE measures into project planning and execution
  • Work in line with HSE Lead at Project/ Cluster/ BU level and advise on implementation of HSE requirements


B) Regulatory Compliance:

  • tay current with local, state, and federal HSE regulations applicable to the construction industry
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to relevant HSE standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular reviews to assess compliance with HSE policies and procedures


C) Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Identify potential HSE hazards and assess risks associated with construction projects
  • Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and action plans
  • Collaborate with project teams to address HSE concerns and implement corrective actions


D) Training and Education:

  • Design and deliver HSE training programs for DLF and FM Contractor personnel
  • Ensure all employees receive adequate HSE orientation and ongoing training
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and awareness regarding HSE best practices


E) HSE Inspections and Audits:

  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential HSE hazards
  • Perform thorough HSE audits to assess the effectiveness of HSE programs
  • Provide timely feedback and recommendations for improvement


F) Incident Investigation and Reporting:

  • Lead investigations into HSE incidents, accidents, and near misses in the project
  • Compile and analyze data related to HSE incidents, preparing comprehensive reports
  • Recommend corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of incidents


G) Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans for construction sites / operational high-rise buildings, hotels and clubs
  • Conduct drills and simulations to ensure readiness for various emergency scenarios
  • Collaborate with relevant authorities to enhance emergency response capabilities


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • B. Tech / BE from a reputed college in core engineering/ HSE branch HSE with distinction
  • Advance Diploma In Industrial Safety (ADIS) from Central or, State Technical Board
  • Proven experience (10 years) in HSE field of which 04 years as a HSE Manager in the construction/ managing operational safety of high-rise buildings
  • In-depth knowledge of construction HSE regulations and best practices
  • Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP, CHST) is preferred
