Key Responsibilities :- Lead end-to-end migration of on-premise infrastructure and applications to Azure Cloud.- Design and implement Azure landing zones, networking, security, and governance frameworks.- Plan and execute Cloudera cluster migration from on-premises or other cloud platforms to Azure.- Optimize and re-architect workloads for Azure-native services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Event Hub.- Perform lift-and-shift as well as modernization strategies for Cloudera-based big data platforms.- Ensure data security, compliance, and high availability during migration.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Application, Database, Security, Infra, and Data Engineers) to ensure smooth migration.- Provide post-migration support, performance tuning, and cost optimization on Skills :- Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Storage, Security).- Proven experience in end-to-end Azure migration projects.- Deep knowledge of Cloudera/Hadoop ecosystem (Hive, Impala, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, HBase, Oozie, etc.).- Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Event Hub, HDInsight).- Strong understanding of cloud governance, cost management, and compliance.- Scripting/Automation skills with PowerShell, Python, or Terraform.- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
