Role Overview :

We are looking for Corporate Communications to be based in Mumbai office.

  • The role is responsible for shaping and executing external communication strategies that align with Parle Agro’s values, business objectives.
  • The role will own the Corporate Reputation Agenda, Executive communication and thought leadership for Parle Agro. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other stakeholders to enhance the company reputation.

Key Focus Areas:

The role holder will be responsible to primarily support in following areas:

1. Internal Communication:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Create engaging content for internal newsletters, intranet portals, and other communication channels.

2. Public Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media representatives, industry influencers, and stakeholders to enhance the company's brand image.
  • Develop PR campaigns and initiatives to effectively communicate key messages and company initiatives to the media and the public.
  • Manage media inquiries and coordinate press releases, interviews, and press conferences as required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive PR and external communications strategies aligned with Company’s business objectives.
  • Create and execute national and regional campaigns especially around sustainability to drive corporate reputation.

3. Corporate Reputation Management:

  • Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage and mitigate reputational risks.
  • Act as the company spokesperson during crisis situations, providing timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute strategies to further enhance corporate reputation.
  • Monitor industry trends, public sentiment, and competitive landscape to proactively address potential reputational challenges.

4. Develop and Implement PR Strategy:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive PR and external communications strategies aligned with Company’s business objectives.
  • Create and execute national and regional campaigns especially around sustainability to drive corporate reputation.
  • Work with HR Teams & leadership in Enhancing employee engagement and morale through effective internal communication.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with media and key stakeholders.
  • Proactively managing and mitigating reputational risks through strategic communication initiatives.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies and initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with media representatives, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate PR campaigns, press releases, and media events.
  • Act as the company spokesperson during media interactions and crisis situations.
  • Monitor media coverage and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of PR efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing, HR, and other departments to ensure alignment in messaging and branding.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and best practices in corporate communication and PR.

Key Skills Required :

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 12 years of proven experience in PR and external communications, preferably in the FMCG/FMCD/Pharma industry.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt communication styles to diverse audiences.
  • Strong media relations experience. Creative thinking and ability to develop innovative PR campaigns.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, creative, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
