As a Credit Manager you will be responsible for working closely with the Head Broker and assist the broker to evaluating home loan applications, assessing creditworthiness, income documents, conducting detailed financial analyses, preparing files from submission to Approval, and providing recommendations to support lending decisions. The role also involves collaborating with team members and stakeholders to ensure adherence to credit policies and delivering exceptional service to clients.Role responsibilities:Conduct servicing assessments using appropriate lender calculatorsExpert in evaluating complex home loan applications (Company, Trust, Partnership, PAYG income, Guarantor Applications & SMSF Deals)Research Bank / lender policy and identify any potential obstacles or seek policy exceptions required prior to lodging approvals to the bank.Review client scenario notes and supporting documents provided by the broker to understand client goals, financials, and loan requirementsShortlist 3–5 lenders that are policy-appropriate, competitively priced, and aligned with client needPrepare clear product comparisons and written recommendation summaries for the broker to use in the client meetingOrder property valuations where required and update pricing based on market movementProvide timely updates to clients regarding the progress of their applicationsLiaise closely with Mortgage Brokers and Loan Processors to ensure smooth handover of files and avoid double-handling with the aim to get one touch approvals from the Bank / Lenders once loan is submitted for their assessment.Essential Skills Required:Exceptional attention to details and strong organisational skillsStrong understanding of credit policies and loan application processesExcellent research and critical thinking capabilitiesStrong written communication skills — ability to summarise complex products clearlyProfessionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive client informationWhat is on offer:Full Time Work from home roleFixed base salary + File based incentive structureOpportunity to grow & lead the credit analyst teamOpportunity to Join the Team and visit Australia for our annual team conferenceAnnual Performance Bonus QualificationsMinimum 2 years of home loan credit assessment experience having worked for an Australian Bank or Australian Mortgage Broker.
