Software Configuration Engineer

Job Description : We are looking for a Software Configuration Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will implement the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. You will assist in designing and configuring software solutions that align with business processes and application requirements, ensuring configurations meet defined standards and support overall project success.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to tailor software solutions that enhance user experience and operational efficiency while maintaining adherence to configuration management principles.Roles & Responsibilities : - Perform independently and develop expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your domain.- Actively participate in team discussions and contribute innovative ideas and solutions.- Design and implement software configurations aligned with business process requirements.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure seamless integration of configurations.- Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices.- Support the Configuration Lead in executing configuration management plans and ensuring quality standards are met.Professional & Technical Skills : Must Have : - Strong proficiency in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM).- Excellent understanding of configuration management principles and practices.- Hands-on experience in software configuration and customization aligned with business requirements.Good To Have : - Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.- Experience with configuration tools, documentation standards, and version control practices.- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.Additional Information : - Experience : Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM).- Work Location : Pune (on-site).- Education : 15 years of full-time education required (ref:hirist.tech)
