As a
Software Configuration Engineer
, you will play a key role in implementing and maintaining configuration management processes in alignment with business needs. Working under the guidance of the Configuration Lead, you will design and customize software configurations to support enterprise goals while ensuring adherence to defined standards and best practices.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing innovative ideas, and ensuring seamless alignment between business processes and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform configuration activities independently and develop into a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Participate actively in team discussions and provide effective input on configuration challenges.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical configurations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide feedback on system design.
  • Contribute solutions for process improvement and technical issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices related to configuration management.

Professional & Technical Skills

Must Have Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in
    Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management (WAM)
    .
  • Solid understanding of
    configuration management principles and practices
    .

Good To Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with
    software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    methodologies.
  • Experience with
    software customization techniques and tools
    .
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and translate them into actionable configurations.
