Job Title: Chief Data Officer (CDO)

Reports To: Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Job Brief:

We are seeking a dynamic Chief Data Officer (CDO) to lead and oversee various data-related functions aimed at optimizing the utilization of data to achieve organizational objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

- Design and execute the company's data strategy and roadmap, encompassing data governance, data quality, and data management.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data needs and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

- Establish a robust data-driven approach to decision-making throughout the organization.

- Implement data governance frameworks and monitor data quality and integrity.

- Drive data innovation and analytics initiatives to reveal business insights and opportunities.

- Utilize modeling techniques to identify, analyze, and present actionable data for informed business decisions.

- Establish data policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulations.

- Lead and manage data teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to leverage data for competitive advantage.

Key Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

- Proven work experience as a CDO or similar senior data leadership role.

- Strong prior experience in senior leadership roles in data management.

- Demonstrated track record of driving data-driven decision-making and business insights.

- In-depth knowledge of data governance, data management, and data analytics.

- Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance with data protection regulations.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

- Strategic thinker with a proactive and innovative approach to data management.
