Learn more:Role OverviewTheBusiness Development Officer (BDO)drivesdeal origination, client acquisition, and strategic partnershipswithin the private equity ecosystem. This is arelationship-led, intelligence-drivenrole that blends market research, networking, and consultative selling to convert high-value relationships into M&A advisory and transformation mandates.Key Responsibilities Originate & qualifyopportunities with PE firms, portfolio companies, and corporates across priority sectors. Build and manage a pipeline ofbuy-side, sell-side, and transformationmandates. Develop trusted relationships withManaging Partners, Operating Partners, Investment Directors, and CXOs. Partner with consulting teams toconvert qualified leads into signed engagements. Conductsector/company researchto support targeting, diligence, and proposals. Track KPIs and continuouslyimprove outreach and conversionstrategies. Represent Mavengigs inclient calls, investor discussions, and partnership forums.Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s or Master’s inBusiness, Finance, or Management, or related fields. Three (3) years Experience inbusiness development, consulting, investment banking, or PE/M&A. Outstandingcommunication, analysis, and relationship-buildingskills. Proven ability tojuggle prioritiesin a fast-paced, global environment. Comfortable collaborating acrossU.S. time zoneswith senior executives. Entrepreneurialmindset, strong follow-through, high attention to detail. Prior exposure toprivate equity or corporate developmentis a strong plus.Key Metrics for Success Volume & quality of new opportunities generated. Ability to make 50-100 calls per day Conversion ratefrom qualified leads to active mandates. Depth of relationshipsacross PE and corporate networks. Contribution torevenue and client acquisitiongoals.
